Noel and the youth at Congdon Elementary raised $600 for Animal Allies during their Global Youth Service event. With the financial support from K.E.Y. Zone Outdoors, they were able to purchase baked goods to sell them at a bake stand at Congdon Elementary during their after school hours for four days in a row. The youth presented their project at the Global Youth Service Day Signature Event at Harbor Highlands on Friday April 26.
This is an incredible amount of money raised by a youth service project! The group had a wonderful time hosting the bake stand and being able to give back to support the animals at the local human society. Thank you Noel for empowering these youth to make a difference in their community! They will likely remember the feeling of this accomplishment forever.
